Curriculum
Children under the age of 5 years develop and learn best in a happy and caring atmosphere with a variety of opportunities to learn through play and in the company of others of a similar age. With this in mind we make provision for all types of play (imaginative, creative, intellectual, physical and exploratory) through a wide range of activities and materials which are available at all times.
Under three year olds work within the Birth to Three Matters Framework which recognises that all children have from birth, a need to develop, learning through interaction with people and exploration of the world around them.
The framework identifies that babies are social beings, they are competent learners from birth and learn more by doing rather than being told.
From age 3, the children work within the new foundation stage guidelines. The children learn through planned and child-led activities that cover seven desirable outcomes.

- Bilingualism (using basic incidental welsh) and Multicultural Understanding
Each child is valued as an individual with different needs and abilities and combined with our enthusiastic staff we create a caring, happy homely environment in which all ages can learn confidently.
